We think fennel is an under-appreciated ingredient for a lot of reasons, including the distinctly fresh flavor it brings to salads like this one.
Servings and Ingredients
|½ c. Hy-Vee mayonnaise
|1 tbsp. Hy-Vee sugar
|1 tbsp. Hy-Vee apple cider vinegar
|4 c. shredded cabbage
|½ c. chopped celery
|¼ c. Hy-Vee chopped walnuts
|2 c. chopped apple
|1 fennel bulb, trimmed and thinly sliced
|¼ c. Hy-Vee raisins
Things To Grab
- Combine mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar in a large bowl. Stir in cabbage, celery, walnuts, apple, fennel and raisins. Cover and refrigerate before serving.
