    1 (8.1 oz) pkg Pillsbury apple cinnamon muffin mix
    ½ c. peeled, cored, finely chopped apples
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee chopped walnuts
    1 ½ tsp. Hy-Vee cinnamon, divided
    ½ c. Hy-Vee skim milk
    6 Joy cones
    6 tbsp. Hy-Vee white frosting

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a medium bowl, stir together muffin mix, apples, walnuts, 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon and milk.
    2. Evenly fill cones with muffin mix.
    3. Place cones in an ungreased muffin tin. Bake 15 to 17 minutes or until muffins are golden brown and toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Move to a wire rack. Cool.
    4. Stir together remaining 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon and frosting. Frost muffins.
