2 eggs
½ c. margarine, softened
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
3 ¼ apples, chopped
½ c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix 2 cups sugar, eggs, 1/2 cup margarine, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, flour and chopped apples together. Place in a greased and floured 9-by-13-inch pan.
  2. Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Increase heat to 325 degrees and bake an additional 30 minutes.
  3. Simmer 1/2 cup margarine, 1 cup sugar, milk and vanilla on low for 30 minutes. Drizzle sauce over individual slices of cake when serving.
