1 c. sugar | ||
1 c. evaporated milk | ||
1 tsp. vanilla |
Directions
- Mix 2 cups sugar, eggs, 1/2 cup margarine, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, flour and chopped apples together. Place in a greased and floured 9-by-13-inch pan.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Increase heat to 325 degrees and bake an additional 30 minutes.
- Simmer 1/2 cup margarine, 1 cup sugar, milk and vanilla on low for 30 minutes. Drizzle sauce over individual slices of cake when serving.
