    1 c.sugar
    ½ c.butter
    1 tsp.baking soda
    ¼ c.sour milk
    2eggs
    1 tsp.vanilla
    2 c.flour
    ½ tsp.salt
    2 c.peeled and chopped raw apples
    ½ c.nuts
    2 tbsp.butter, softened
    2 tbsp.flour
    2 tbsp.sugar
    ½to 1 tsp cinnamon

    Directions

    1. Cream sugar and butter. Dissolve baking soda in milk. Add to creamed mixture. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour and salt. Mix well. Fold in apples and nuts. Place in greased loaf pan.
    2. Mix butter, 2 tablespoons flour, 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon for topping and spread on top.
    3. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
