    5 c. uncooked Hy-Vee old-fashioned oatmeal
    1 c. steel-cut oats
    1 c. Hy-Vee almond slivers
    1 c. Hy-Vee sweetened coconut
    1 (6 oz) pkg Hy-Vee dried tart cherries
    ½ c. almond oil
    ½ c. Hy-Vee honey
    ¾ tsp. cinnamon
    yogurt, fresh fruit or skim milk, optional

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
    2. In large mixing bowl, stir together oatmeal, steel-cut oats, almond slivers, coconut and cherries; set aside.
    3. In small bowl, stir together almond oil, honey and cinnamon; add to oat mixture and stir well.
    4. Spread granola in a greased baking pan and bake 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
    5. Cool and store in airtight container. Serve with yogurt, fresh fruit or skim milk.
