    Things To Grab

    • Food processor
    • 2 small shallow bowls
    • Air fryer
    • Small saucepan
    • 5 serving dishes

    Directions

    1. Place 1-1/4 cups cereal, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, and cinnamon in a food processor. Cover and process for 1 to 2 minutes or until cereal is finely crushed. Transfer to a small shallow bowl; set aside.

    2. Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees according to manufacturer's directions. Meanwhile, whisk egg in another small shallow bowl. Dip frozen French toast sticks one at a time in egg, turning to coat all sides. Coat with crushed cereal mixture, turning to coat all sides.

    3. Lightly spray air-fryer basket with nonstick spray. Working in batches, place coated French toast sticks in a single layer in basket. Close air fryer and air-fry 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown, turning halfway through.

    4. Meanwhile, for blueberry sauce, place 1 cup blueberries in a small saucepan; mash with a potato masher. Add remaining 3 tablespoons brown sugar and water. Simmer uncovered over medium-low heat for 5 to 6 minutes or sauce begins to thicken, stirring occasionally. Stir in remaining 1 cup blueberries; simmer 2 minutes more or until whole berries begin to burst; cool slightly before serving.

    5. To serve, scoop ice cream into 5 serving bowls. Top with blueberry mixture. Add 2 French toast sticks to each sundae. Garnish with additional crushed cinnamon square cereal, if desired.
