  1. For Yellow Eggs: Add 4 c. water, 2 tbsp. ground turmeric, and 1 tbsp. Hy-Vee white vinegar to a medium saucepan; stir to combine. Add 6 Hy-Vee white large eggs to saucepan. Place over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Once simmering, turn off heat and cover. Let eggs stand in hot water for 15 minutes. 

  2. For Blue Eggs: Add 4 c. water3 c. shredded red cabbage, and 2 tbsp. Hy-Vee white vinegar to a medium saucepan; stir to combine. Add 6 Hy-Vee white large eggs to saucepan. Place over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Once simmering, turn off heat and cover. Let eggs stand in hot water for 15 minutes. 

  3. After 15 minutes of standing time, add eggs to a heat-safe container with a tight fitting lid. Pour hot liquid over eggs. Place in refrigerator and allow to sit for 8 hours or overnight until desired color is reached. Drain liquid and allow eggs to dry.

  4. Refrigerate dyed eggs in the shell for up to 1 week.
