Beth Freehill, MS, RD, LD, received a Bachelor of Science degree in food science and human nutrition and a minor in chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly the American Dietetic Association). Beth recently completed her Master of Science degree in health education. She completed Hy-Vee's health coach training at Des Moines University in 2009. Beth offers many nutrition services at Hy-Vee and is ready to help you with your nutrition needs.

YWCA – Hy-Vee Wellness Club
The YWCA and Hy-Vee have teamed up to offer a wellness club featuring nutrition classes taught by Beth, a group shopping tour at Hy-Vee, personalized fitness assessment with a YWCA personal trainer and periodic emails with recipes and wellness tips. Hy-Vee One Step Garden Program
The One Step garden program takes place at your Clinton Hy-Vee each summer. The nutrition and garden-based program began in 2012 and is taught by Hy-Vee registered dietitians. The program consists of helping to maintain the garden, participating in food tastings and learning about healthy eating. Classes are held at Hy-Vee; a fenced, raised-bed style garden is located on the south side of the store. For questions about the program, please contact your Hy-Vee dietitian at 563-243-6162.

Beth will come to your organization or business to present a nutrition program. Community programs can be tailored to the group's interest. Popular presentation topics include cholesterol-removing foods, simple secrets to a healthy weight, food label reading, super foods and more!
