Beth Freehill, MS, RD, LD, received a Bachelor of Science degree in food science and human nutrition and a minor in chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly the American Dietetic Association). Beth recently completed her Master of Science degree in health education. She completed Hy-Vee's health coach training at Des Moines University in 2009. Beth offers many nutrition services at Hy-Vee and is ready to help you with your nutrition needs.

Hy-Vee One Step Garden Program
The One Step garden program takes place at your Clinton Hy-Vee each summer. The nutrition and garden-based program began in 2012 and is taught by Hy-Vee registered dietitians. The program consists of helping to maintain the garden, participating in food tastings and learning about healthy eating. Community Nutrition Programs
Beth will come to your organization or business to present a nutrition program. Community programs can be tailored to the group's interest. Popular presentation topics include cholesterol-removing foods, simple secrets to a healthy weight, food label reading, super foods and more!
