Honor Flight
We have announced plans for a third Honor Flight that will take hundreds of World War II veterans to Washington DC to visit the World War II Memorial. Read more about this wonderful event set to fly out on Wednseday, November 4, 2009.
Our first Honor Flight took place on Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Hy-Vee donated $250,000 to send 350 central Iowa World War II veterans to Washington D.C. to receive free tours of the war memorials. Click here to view pictures from the flight.
