Kristen Decker, RD, LD, is the registered dietitian at the Utica Ridge Hy-Vee. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in nutrition from the College of St. Benedict in Minnesota and completed her dietetic internship through Iowa State University. Kristen is a nationally registered dietitian, licensed in the state of Iowa and is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly the American Dietetic Association). She is passionate about cooking and baking and has always enjoyed grocery shopping so becoming a Hy-Vee dietitian felt like a perfect fit! A few attributes Kristen will use to serve customers include her experience with recipe modification, creative meal suggestions and practical tips to achieve a healthier lifestyle.
