Lindsey Brost, RD, LDN, is the registered dietitian at the Silvis Hy-Vee. She received her Bachelor of Science in dietetics from University of Wisconsin-Stout. She completed her dietetic internship with Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Lindsey is a nationally registered dietitian and licensed in the state of Illinois. She is also a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Illinois Dietetic Association and the Mississippi Valley Dietetic Association. During her internship, Lindsey discovered her passion for helping the public navigate the aisles on grocery store tours and recipe development using different fruits and vegetables. She looks forward to assisting you with your nutrition-related questions.

Shopping Assistance for Health with Your Hy-Vee Dietitian

Take a walk through the aisles with your Hy-Vee dietitian to find health-promoting foods that appeal to you, receive ideas & recipes for how to enjoy these foods, or review the basics on understanding Nutrition Facts labels. Learn how to enhance your health by putting favorable foods in your shopping cart…and in your body!
$100 per hour
Nutrition presentations are great for employee wellness programs, schools, churches and more. Lindsey will come to your business or organization to present a nutrition topic designed for your group’s interests. Popular topics include diabetes, quick and healthy cooking, packing a healthy lunch, shopping on a budget, “superfoods” and lowering cholesterol. Lindsey will bring education materials, recipes and food to sample.
