Cranberry Chutney Brie

Description
Place a cookie cutter on a wheel of brie and fill the inside with cranberry chutney for a festive, holiday effect.

1 (12 oz) bag cranberries | ||
1 ¼ c. Hy-Vee sugar | ||
¾ c. water | ||
1 large apple, peeled, cored and finely chopped | ||
2 tsp. Hy-Vee ground cinnamon | ||
1 tsp. ground ginger | ||
¼ tsp. ground cloves | ||
Brie cheese and Hy-Vee crackers, for serving |
Directions
- Combine cranberries, sugar, water, apples, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or fruit has softened and chutney has thickened. Cool completely.
- Serve over Brie cheese with crackers, if desired.
