Hy-Vee Pharmacy Scholarship
A Program that Helps You Earn and Learn
Through our Pharmacy Scholarship program, we have helped students earn their degree and start their careers in pharmacy. In fact, over 95% of scholarship recipients who were in the program are now practicing their chosen profession as a Hy-Vee pharmacist.
The Hy-Vee Pharmacy Scholarship Program gives you money toward tuition and valuable experience that can help in the classroom. The program offers up to $16,000 of financial aid toward your pharmacy degree. And, as part of the program, you'll have the opportunity to get practical, hands-on experience in Hy-Vee pharmacies through internship positions during the school year, holiday breaks, and summer vacation.
How the Program Works
You're eligible for the Hy-Vee Pharmacy Scholarship Program if you:
- Are in one of your last four years at an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Maintain a minimum of a "C" average
- Are approved by the Hy-Vee Scholarship Committee
- If you work full-time for Hy-Vee after you graduate and become a registered pharmacist, your financial aid will be forgiven at the rate of $4000 for each year that you work in our pharmacy.
- If your employment with Hy-Vee terminates prior to the completion of your obligation, the scholarship then becomes a repayable loan obligation.
