Vaccines are available daily during business hours, walk-ins are always welcome. Most insurance is accepted.
- FLU SHOTS: The CDC recommends vaccination once they are available and continuing throughout the flu season (which can last as late as May). The timing and duration of the flu seasons vary and can start as early as October, but usually peak during the month of January or later. It takes approximately 2 weeks for the antibodies to begin building up after a person receives the vaccine, and its protection will last through the flu season.
- SHINGRIX: Recommended to most patients over 50 years of age.
- PREVNAR13 & PNEUMOVAX 23: Recommended to anyone over 65 years of age and in some cases younger.
- TDAP: protects against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (whooping cough)
