Executive Chef William Gerstenberger has vast experience in creating upper crust-level styles of cooking for some of the most famous people in the world, from Oprah Winfrey to presidential candidates. He started his career in California and moved back to Iowa a few years ago when he joined the Hy-Vee Crossroads team. He is a globallytrained chef and enjoys preparing Italian, French, Asian and Latin dishes. Chef William is also a frequent guest on KWWL, a local news station.

Chef William brings several talents to Hy-Vee to help you bring an upscale feel to your meals. He is able to teach people how to create delicious meals or he can make them for you and your guests. He has his own menu of meals that are unique, tasty and beautifully presented! Chef William can be found in the aisles or in the meat department at Hy-Vee and he is happy to help you with any cooking questions you may have.
