Roxy Danielsen


Executive Chef Roxy Danielsen has extensive knowledge and experience in large caterings, creating pasta dishes, and fusion cooking. Roxy was born and raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She started her career with Hy-Vee in 2009. Roxy graduated from Kirkwood Community College with an AA in Culinary Arts in 2016, specializing in banquets and large catering. During school, she did an internship in Bristol, Virginia with an executive golf club cooking for professional athletes and government officials. After graduating, Roxy became the Executive Chef for an Iowa City Hy-Vee store where she planned many University of Iowa athletic program caterings.  In August of 2017, She returned to the Cedar Valley as the Assistant Kitchen Manager at Waterloo 1. In February 2018, she became the Executive Chef. Roxy enjoys creating dishes for different events at Waterloo 1, such as Craft Beer Club, Wine Club, Simple Fix, Healthy Meals, and cooking classes. In Roxy’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her cats, line dancing, traveling and doing Zumba.
