Hemoglobin A1C is a blood test that individuals living with diabetes use to manage their blood glucose levels that provides information about that individual’s average levels of blood glucose over a 2-3 month period.
Screenings are completed using a finger-poke and results will be given during the appointment. This is NOT a fasting screening, so you may eat, drink, and take medications per normal.
