DISH Freezer Meal Preparation

Do you have a hard time planning meals? Are you tired of turning to fast food? Would you like to provide healthier options for your family?

Join us for DISH (Dinner is Solved at Hy-Vee)

You and your fellow classmates will prepare freezer-meals with assistance from Dietitian Krystle and additional Hy-Vee staff. Each participant will end up with eight freezer meals large enough to feed a family of four. There is no fee for this class beyond the cost of the groceries themselves. Best of all, Hy-Vee will take care of all the shopping and clean-up! The meals we will prepare include:

1. Makeover Hashbrown Soup

2. Lil' Cheddar Meat Loaves

3. Hot Chicken Salad

4. Chicken Fajita Chili

5. Salmon over Sweet and Sour Cabbage

6. Cranberry Mustard Pork Loin

7. Italian Stir-Fry with Turkey Sausage

8. Baked Ziti
