The Silver & Gold Club is teaming up with the Show Me Fall Missouri initiative to bring this resource event to area seniors. Many seniors live alone and enjoy their independence, but sustaining a fall is a major health concern. This event will help seniors learn how to reduce the risk of falling.
- Visit with 30+ professional vendors - it's everything under one roof to help you stay safe and free of falls and fall-related injuries.
- Comprehensive free screenings by experts in their fields, including balance checks, vision and hearing checks, foot sensation, walking speed, blood pressure, sitting and rising, nutrition, how to fall "properly", exercise tips, Tai Chi and medication review (bring your prescriptions list with you).
- Expert panel discussion by specialists in their field
- Door prizes and giveaways
- Box lunches served at 12:30 p.m.
