Your Hy-Vee dietitian has partnered with other community experts in this two-part class for parents-to-be. This monthly class is free to the public so every new mom and baby can get the best possible start. This date is for Part 1 only; find more information for both parts and other dates at the registration link below.
Part 1 includes education on the basics of:
Preventing childhood lead poisoning
Maternal nutrition (Dietitian Chrissy's section!)
Spinning babies (Getting baby in proper birth position for vaginal delivery)
Physical movement
Part 2 includes education on the basics of:
Purple crying/Family Connects
Car seat safety
Sleep safety
Postpartum anxiety/depression
Physical movement
CPR - Infant only
