Hemoglobin A1c is a blood test that individuals living with diabetes use to manage their blood glucose levels. Hemoglobin A1c helps provide information about that individual’s average levels of blood glucose over a 2-3 months period. Visit your Barry Road Hy-Vee at the Healthy You Mobile to have your Hemoglobin A1c checked with dietitian Adrienne. Receive helpful nutrition tips for blood sugar control and healthy eating from dietitian Adrienne. Individuals without a diagnosis of diabetes may also benefit from this screening, especially those with risk factors or a family history.
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Cost: $20 per test
First come, first served basis. We will not be scheduling appointment times in advance. Fasting is not required for this test.
