Hey, kids! Come to the garden center and join Hy-Vee dietitian, Christy Frese, and Cathy Wyatt, Hy-Vee garden enthusiast, for an exciting and engaging gardening and nutrition program. You will be encourged to try new foods, get dirty in the garden, and practice your math, reading and writing skills while you garden and cook. These classes were designed for elementary-age children and meet once each week for 8 weeks. Pre-registration required. Please call 378-0762 or stop by our customer service desk. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Class size is limited. Dress for the outdoors. Also Tuesdays, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, from 9 to 10:30 a.m and Tuesday, August 5, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Please register for each date.
