Do you struggle with having the time to make delicious meals for your family? Do you get tired of having the same meals over and over? How about knowing where to start to provide a healthy, balanced, wholesome meal? Then come and join us for our Healthy DISH program! Classes are held twice a month and each class features five dietitian-selected freezer meal recipes with sides for you to take home, freeze, then use at your convenience. For each class, grocery shopping and some of the food preparation will already be completed. All you have to do is show up, make 1 to 2 recipes for the class, and have fun! Your classmates make the rest of the recipes for you and we take care of the clean-up! Each recipe serves four and each participant will go home with all five recipes equaling 20 meals with sides all for only $75! Don't wait to sign up; space is limited! The recipes for this class are: Slow Cooker Banana Bread Quinoa; Sweet & Spicy Sriracha Glazed Salmon with Fire Roasted Root Vegetables & Red Onions; BBQ Pulled Chicken with Salad Bar Voucher; Egg Roll Bowl with Brown Rice; and Coconut Chicken Skewers with Mango Salsa and Honey Roasted Sweet Corn. Class time may run longer depending on the recipes and class experience. If you have food allergies, please inform us when you call to register for the class. It is preferred that you are 21 years old, or older, to participate in the class because we will offer wine tastings and will be cooking with alcoholic beverages on occasion. If you are not 21 years of age, inform us upon registration so that accommodations can be made.
