Join Chef Bob Allen along with Jon Wikner and Jethe Lowman from Johnson Brothers Wines for an evening of wining and dining. Sit back, sip your wine and relax while Chef Bob prepares a succulent 4-course meal, with a new wine served during each course.

Menu and wine pairings include:

Seared Scallops with Thai Coconut Curry and Ginger Jasmine Rice paired with Some Young Punks “Monsters, Monsters, ATTACK!” Riesling.

Moroccan Ground Beef Skewers with Apricot and Almond Couscous topped with Gram Masala Yogurt and paired with Cusamano Nero d’Avolo.

Wine-Braised Beef Short Ribs with Pancetta and Kale Polenta being paired with Battle Axe Cabernet Sauvignon.

For dessert you will be tasting Hazelnut-Mocha Dacquoise with Mixed Berry Caramel Sauce paired with Secco Italian Bubbles Moscato.

Pre-registration and pre-payment are required before class in Hy-Vee Wine and Spirits.

Participants must be 21 to register for the event.
Time: Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $35 (must be registered by Friday, January 31st), $40 (if registered after Friday, January 31st.)
