In honor of National Diabetes Month, Hy-Vee is offering a free A1C screening. A1C is a simple blood test that shows a person's average blood sugar over the last 2-3 months. This test result can be used to diagnose prediabetes or diabetes OR for people with diabetes, this test can be used to assess blood sugar management. Join us for a free A1C screening on Tuesday, November 19, from 8 a.m. to Noon in the Hy-Vee Healthy You Mobile parked outside our pharmacy entrance in our parking lot. Walk-ins are welcome for this 10-minute test. Fasting is not necessary. Results will be discussed during visit.
