Dietitian Tristyn is offering FREE A1c checks on Sunday, November 17 from 8 a.m. - noon. The Hy-Vee Healthy You Mobile will be here in front of the store and the screenings will take place on the mobile. There is no need to make an appointment as this is on a first come, first served basis. Fasting is NOT necessary for this test. The test includes a finger prick and the drawing of a small sample of blood. You will receive your results during the same appointment. Appointments typically last shorter than 10 minutes. Please note that this test is not intended to diagnose, it is only a screening of A1c and all results should be discussed with your doctor.
