Learn More About Fuel Saver

Here’s How It Works:

• If you are already a Hy-Vee Fuel Saver card member or need to Register a new card or Request a card to be sent by mail, select "My Fuel Saver" and login to your My Hy-Vee account. Then get ready to check the gas discounts you’ve earned or redeemed, and any fuel savings that are about to expire.
• Purchase Hy-Vee FuelSaver^TM items at your local Hy-Vee food store, Hy-Vee Drugstore, Hy-Vee Gas or Hy-Vee Mainstreet stores. Items will be marked as Hy-Vee Fuel Saver items in our weekly print ad and will be indicated by a Hy-Vee Fuel Saver shelf sign.
• Swipe Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card at checkout to load earned discounts to card.
• Discounts earned with each visit to the store will be printed on your receipt along with your total discounts earned.
• Redeem discounts at participating fuel stations, which is prior to expiration 30 days from date of each discount earned.

Pay at Pump:

1. Select outside payment method and swipe payment card.
2. Swipe Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card at the pump.
3. Prices roll down at pump.
4. Pump fuel. Receipt prints showing total amount saved.

Pay Inside:

1. Select pay inside.
2. Swipe Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card at the pump.
3. Prices roll down at pump.
4. Pump fuel.
5. Pay cashier inside. Receipt prints showing total amount saved.

Pay at Pump:

1. If paying at the dispenser, follow the prompts to select Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card.
2. Insert your Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card (with magnetic stripe).
3. Select your form of payment and fuel grade.
4. Watch your price roll down. Dispense up to a maximum of 20 gallons of fuel per purchase, per vehicle.
5. Receipt prints showing total amount saved.

Pay Inside:

1. If paying inside, see cashier BEFORE inserting your Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card.

• Link your Hy-Vee Fuel Saver™ card to the Fuel Rewards Network™ (FRN) program when you create your FRN™ Account at fuelrewards.com/hy-vee.
• Earn Hy-Vee Fuel Rewards™ savings when you shop online and dine out with the FRN™ program:
  • 5 cents/gal for every $50 spent when you shop through the Online Mall at nearly 700 brand name online merchants.
  • 10 cents/gal for every $50 spent when you dine at more than 10,000 participating restaurants.
• Combine your rewards earned at Hy-Vee with those earned through the FRN™ program to save even more money on fuel. (Note: rewards earned through these FRN programs may only be redeemed at Shell fuel stations.)

Upromise^® and Saving Star^®:

Existing Upromise^® Card and Saving Star^® Card holders must now use the Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card. To register your Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card for Upromise, go to www.upromise.com. To register your Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card for Saving Star, go to www.savingstar.com.

Restrictions:

• Discounts expire 30 days from purchase of each Fuel Saver item. For example, discounts earned on September 3rd expire on October 3rd at 11:59:59 PM local time.
• Discounts shall not reduce the price below a minimum per gallon price ranging between $0.019 and $0.109 depending on the type of fuel dispenser being used.
• If discount earned exceeds the current price per gallon of fuel minus $0.019 to $0.109 per gallon, the remaining earned discount will roll over and be available for use on a future redemption transaction prior to expiration 30 days from date of purchase of each Fuel Saver item.
• Discounts may only be used on one vehicle and may not exceed 20 gallons for each redemption transaction.
