    Things To Grab

    • Small saucepan
    • Small microwave-safe bowl
    • 6-oz. cocktail glass
    • Cocktail shaker
    • Ice

    Directions

    1. Make Bloody Simple Syrup: Add raspberries, thyme sprigs, water, and sugar to a small saucepan. Whisk until sugar has dissolved. Simmer until the mixture becomes thick and syrupy. Remove from heat. If desired, strain and discard raspberry seeds. Set aside to cool.

    2. Prepare Bloody Rim: Combine raspberry gelatin and boiling water in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave 15 seconds or until gelatin has dissolved. Immediately run the rim of a cocktail glass through the gelatin mixture allowing excess to drip down the sides of the glass. Set aside.

    3. Shake the Cocktail: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add Bloody Simple Syrup, rum, and lemon juice to shaker. Shake until combined and chilled. Strain into prepared cocktail glass.
