18 (1/4-inch) sweet wheat baguette slices
¼ c. butter, softened
6 tbsp. packed brown sugar, divided
¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
½ c. chopped peaches
½ c. chopped plums
2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
2 tbsp. chopped glazed walnuts

Directions

  1. Lay the baguette slices in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
  2. Stir together the butter, 4 tablespoons brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread evenly on one side of each baguette slice.
  3. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes or until bubbly and bread is lightly browned on the edges.
  4. Stir together the remaining brown sugar, fruit and lime juice in a small bowl.
  5. Spoon equal amounts of fruit over the bread slices and sprinkle with the walnuts.
