1 lbs. boneless beef sirloin steak, 1-inch thick | ||
2 tsp. Mexican seasoning | ||
1 (15 oz) can mandarin oranges in 100% juice, drained | ||
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes with garlic and onion, drained | ||
1 (8 oz) can pineapple tidbits in 100% juice, undrained | ||
½ c. chopped red or green bell pepper | ||
1 tbsp. chopped and seeded jalapeno pepper, optional | ||
6 c. mixed salad greens |
Directions
- Trim fat from steak. Rub both sides with seasoning. Grill, uncovered, 12 to 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, for salsa, gently stir together oranges, tomatoes, pineapple, bell pepper and jalapeno.
- Thinly slice steak across the grain. Serve steak and salsa over salad greens.
