½ c. Hy-Vee ketchup | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee cider vinegar | ||
1 tbsp. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar | ||
½ tsp. cayenne pepper or to taste | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee crushed red pepper flakes, or to taste | ||
¼ tsp. liquid smoke | ||
Hy-Vee ranch dressing, for dipping, optional |
Directions
- Prepare popcorn chicken according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, whisk together ketchup, cider vinegar, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, crushed red pepper flakes and liquid smoke in a very large bowl.
- Toss hot popcorn chicken in ketchup mixture and return to baking sheet. Bake an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
- Serve with ranch dressing for dipping, if desired.
