    2 (0.44 oz each) boxes Hy-Vee sugar-free cherry gelatin
    2 c. water
    2 c. light cranberry juice
    2 (15 oz each) cans Hy-Vee pear halves with Splenda, drained
    French vanilla whipped topping, thawed, optional

    Directions

    1. In a large saucepot, bring gelatin, water and cranberry juice to a boil over high heat stirring occasionally until gelatin is dissolved.
    2. Add pears. Partially cover saucepot with lid. Reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes.
    3. Remove pears. Discard liquid.
    4. Refrigerate pears 1 to 2 hours until cooled. Serve each pear topped with whipped topping if desired.
