    ¾ oz. ginger syrup
    ½ oz. fresh lime juice
    3 oz. Coke
    Fresh lime, for garnish
    Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

    Directions

    1. Add ice to a cocktail shaker. Add red wine, ginger syrup, and lime juice; shake thoroughly until chilled. Strain into a copper mug filled with ice. Top with Coke. If desired, garnish with fresh lime slice and mint leaves.

      To make your own ginger syrup, add fresh slices of ginger to pre-made simple syrup. Allow to steep in your refrigerator until desired flavor is reached. Remove and discard ginger.
