    ¼ lbs. Italian sausage
    ⅓ c. sliced green onion
    2 (15 oz each) cans Hy-Vee pizza sauce
    1 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
    1 (6 oz) jar Hy-Vee sliced ripe olives, drained
    Bread sticks, crackers and vegetable dippers, optional

    Directions

    1. In a 4-quart slow-cooker, combine pizza sauce, mushrooms, olives and sausage mixture. Cover and cook on LOW for 2 to 3 hours.
    2. In a skillet, cook the sausage and green onion until sausage is brown. Drain and rinse.
    3. Serve with bread sticks, crackers or vegetable dippers, if desired.
