    This super simple method is a go-to in our Test Kitchen. Just mix bread crumbs with your favorite seasoning blend, press onto the fish and pan fry.

    ½ c. Hy-Vee plain bread crumbs
    1 ½ tsp. McCormick Montreal steak seasoning
    4 (6-oz. each) catfish fillets
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select olive oil, divided

    Directions

    1. Combine bread crumbs and seasoning. Press onto fish.
    2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 fillets and cook 4 minutes; turn. Cook an additional 4 minutes or until the fillets are cooked through (145 degrees). Repeat using remaining oil and fillets.
