    1 medium shallot, sliced
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 c. pre-cooked turkey sausage crumbles
    1 (10 oz) pkg chopped kale
    ¼ c. water
    1 (15 oz) can Hy-Vee great white northern beans, drained and rinsed

    Directions

    1. In a large skillet, cook shallots, garlic and sausage for 3 minutes over medium-high heat.
    2. Reduce heat to medium and add half the kale and the water. Wait a few minutes for the kale to wilt and then add the remaining kale. Cover and cook. After 3 minutes, reduce heat to medium-low and add beans. Cook for 5 more minutes, or until kale become wilted and tender.
