Johnsonville Broccoli Sausage Cornbread
Servings and Ingredients
|5 Johnsonville Original Bratwust|
|2 (8.5 oz each) pkg corn muffin mix, plus ingredients called for on package|
|1 (10 oz) pkg frozen chopped broccoli, thawed|
|½ c. chopped onion|
|1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese|
- Remove bratwurst from its casing. In a large skillet, cook bratwurst until browned and crumbled. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare batter for corn muffin mix according to package directions. Stir in bratwurst, broccoli and onion. Mix well. Pour into greased 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
- Bake according to muffin package directions until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Sprinkle cheese over top of cornbread about 5 minutes before removing from oven.
