|1||large white onion, sliced into 4 thick slices|
|4||Hy-Vee Bakery sesame seed buns, sliced into thirds|
|1 c.||prepared coleslaw|
|4 slice(s)||Maple Leaf smoked Gouda cheese (about 2 oz)|
|¼ lbs.||packaged prepared pulled pork, heated|
|8 tbsp.||Hy-Vee barbecue sauce|
|4 slice(s)||white cheddar cheese|
|15 to 20 Hy-Vee BBQ kettle chips (about 1 1/2 oz)|
- Preheat grill to direct heat over medium-high heat.
- Form beef into 8 patties. Grill patties about 8 to 10 minutes, flipping once, or until temperature reaches 160 degrees.
- Grill onion slices about 5 to 7 minutes per side or until onion is tender and begins to caramelize.
- To assemble burgers, top bottom third bun with coleslaw, burger patty, Gouda cheese, pulled pork, 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce, middle third bun, caramelized onion, second burger patty, white cheddar cheese slice, remaining 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce, chips and top third bun.
