    1 lbs. ground ham
    1 lbs. ground pork sausage
    1 ⅓ c. uncooked Hy-Vee old-fashioned oats
    2 Hy-Vee large eggs
    ⅔ c. Hy-Vee 2% milk
    1 tsp. grated onion
    ⅓ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee flour
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee dry mustard
    2 tsp. Hy-Vee white vinegar
    ⅓ c. corn syrup
    ⅔ c. water

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
    2. Mix together ham, sausage, oats, eggs, milk and onion in a large bowl.
    3. Form into 10 to 12 medium-sized balls. Place in a greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
    4. Bake uncovered for 1 hour.
    5. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, flour, dry mustard, vinegar, corn syrup and water. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Boil for one minute.
    6. Pour brown sugar mixture over ham balls one minute before they are removed from the oven.
    7. Serve warm.
