    12 oz. pasteurized farm fresh cream
    Leaves from 1 sprig fresh thyme
    ½ tsp. flake sea salt

    Directions

    1. Place cream in a quart Mason jar, top with lid and tightly secure.
    2. Shake cream vigorously for 6 to 8 minutes or until the buttermilk separates from the butter.
    3. Pour buttermilk out of jar and reserve for another use, such as pancakes.
    4. Using a spoon, scoop butter in a small dish and top with fresh thyme leaves and flake sea salt.
