    1 tsp. kosher salt
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground black pepper
    2 (1-1/4-lbs.) Duroc double bone-in pork chops, 2-1/2-to-2-3/4-inch thick
    ¾ Culinary Tours Kung Pao sauce
    ½ c. Hy-Vee honey
    1 tsp. sesame seeds, toasted; for garnish

    Directions

    1. Combine 1/2 teaspoon Chinese 5-spice seasoning, salt, and pepper; sprinkle and rub onto both sides of pork chops. Let stand at room temperature 20 minutes.

    2. Meanwhile, stir together kung pao sauce, honey, and remaining 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice seasoning. Cook over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

    3. Preheat a charcoal or gas grill for direct grilling over medium heat (350 degrees).

    4. Grill pork hcops 15 minutes, turning once halfway through. Brush with sauce mixture. Grill 8 to 10 minutes more or until pork reaches 145 degrees, turning frequently and brushing with additional sauce. Transfer chops to a clean cutting board. Loosely cover with foil; let rest 3 minutes.

    5. To serve, garnish with toasted sesame seeds. Cut each chop horizontally between the bones into 2 pieces.
