    2 c. sugar
    ½ c. cocoa
    2 c. cold water
    2 tsp. baking soda
    salt
    1 c. vegetable oil
    2 tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Beat together flour, sugar, cocoa, cold water, baking soda and salt until smooth. Stir in oil, vinegar and vanilla. Scrape into a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
    3. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
