Directions

  1. Season pork shoulder with salt and pepper.

  2. In a 3-1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, add seasoned pork shoulder, broth, and garlic. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.

  3. Remove pork shoulder from slow cooker and shred coarsely with 2 forks. Serve on buns with barbecue sauce, if desired.
