1 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select olive oil | ||
¾ lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2–inch pieces | ||
1 Hy-Vee chicken bouillon cube, dissolved in 1 cup hot water | ||
1 ½ c. Hy-Vee spaghetti sauce | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee basil | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee oregano | ||
2 c. Hy-Vee penne rigate, uncooked | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee grated Parmesan cheese |
Directions
- In a 10-inch skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add chicken bouillon, spaghetti sauce and seasonings. Heat to boiling.
- Add pasta, stirring to coat. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer 18 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed and the pasta is tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese.
