2 ½ c. original flavor Bugles
½ tsp. Hy-Vee garlic powder
½ tsp. smoked paprika

½ c. Hy-Vee all-purpose flour
2 Hy-Vee large eggs, lightly beaten
1 medium white onion, cut into 1/4-inch-thick rings

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees. Place Bugles, garlic powder, smoked, paprika, and black pepper in a food processor. Cover and process until finely ground. Transfer mixture to a shallow bowl. Place flour in another shallow bowl and beaten eggs in a third shallow bowl.

  2. Dip onion rings, one at a time, into flour then immediately into beaten eggs and then Bugles mixture, coating well. For thicker coating, repeat dipping process. Place onion rings in a single layer on air fryer basket. Air-fry for 3 to 5 minutes or until crispy, spraying halfway through with cooking spray. Repeat with remaining onion rings.
