    Our no-bake Chocolate Marshmallow Pie is essentially gets a double dose of chocolate in the filling and in the crust. If you don't have a double boiler, you can use a small saucepan fitted with a glass bowl.

    ½ c. Hy-Vee whole milk
    1 (10-oz.) pkg. Hy-Vee miniature marshmallows
    1 (12-oz.) pkg. Hy-Vee semisweet chocolate chips
    1 c. Hy-Vee heavy whipping cream, plus additional sweetened and whipped for garnish
    1 (9-oz.) pre-made chocolate cookie crust
    Chocolate sprinkles, for garnish

    • Water
    • Whisk
    • Large metal bowl
    • Electric mixer

    Directions

    1. Add water to a double boiler over medium heat making sure that water does not touch the top of the double broiler. Bring water to a simmer.

    2. Add milk and marshmallows to the top of the double boiler and melt marshmallows, stirring frequently until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips and continue to stir until melted. Cool to room temperature; stirring occasionally.

    3. In a large chilled metal bowl, beat whipped cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into cooled chocolate and marshmallow mixture until evenly combined. Pour into pre-made crust and chill for 2 hours or until set. 

    4. Just before serving, garnish with additional sweetened whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles, if desired.
