    1 lbs. ground beef
    ½ c. chopped onion
    1 (26 oz) jar Hy-Vee traditional spaghetti sauce
    1 (15 oz) can Hy-Vee chili beans, undrained
    ½ tsp. garlic powder
    ¼ tsp. ground cayenne pepper
    1 (12 oz) pkg Hy-Vee spaghetti
    ½ c. Hy-Vee shredded Hy-Vee cheddar cheese, optional

    Directions

    1. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, brown meat. Drain.
    2. Add onion. Cook 5 minutes or until tender.
    3. Stir in spaghetti sauce, beans, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Reduce heat. Simmer 10 minutes or until meat is thoroughly cooked.
    4. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.
    5. Toss together hot spaghetti and 1/2 the sauce. Spoon remaining sauce over top. Sprinkle with cheese, if desired.
