    1 tbsp. oil
    ½ lbs. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 celery, chopped
    1 (15 oz) can hot chili beans
    ¼ c. ketchup
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    ¼ tsp. black pepper
    ¼ tsp. sugar
    chili powder and cayenne pepper, to taste

    Directions

    1. Heat oil in frying pan. Add ground beef and cook until lightly browned.
    2. Push ground beef to the side of the pan. Add onion and celery and cook until soft. Drain.
    3. Add chili beans, ketchup, water, salt, black pepper, sugar, chili powder and red pepper. Mix well. Simmer for 30 to 45 minutes.
