1 (3-to-5 lbs.) pork roast
1 (2 liter) bottle Cherry Coca-Cola
1 (28-oz.) can Hy-Vee tomato sauce
12 oz. Hy-Vee stone ground Dijon mustard
1 c. molasses
½ c. Hy-Vee apple cider vinegar

Directions

  1. Place pork roast in a roasting pan and add Cherry Coca-Cola. Cover pan with aluminum foil. Braise for 3 to 4 hours in a 300-degree oven.
  2. Remove pork from pan and shred with a fork. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  3. For the Dijon Mustard Barbecue Sauce, combine tomato sauce, mustard, molasses and vinegar in a large saucepan and heat through over medium heat until the barbecue sauce begins to thicken.
  4. Stir the pork into the barbecue sauce and heat through, or heat the pork through separately and serve with barbecue sauce.
