1 c. turkey drippings from roasted turkey
¼ c. Hy-Vee cornstarch
2 gluten-free turkey or chicken bouillon cubes
2 c. gluten-free chicken broth
½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
white pepper
½ tsp. Hy-Vee dried sage
½ tsp. poultry seasoning

Directions

  1. After turkey has been roasted, pour juices into a large measuring cup. Skim off all fat, reserving about 1 cup.

  2. Pour fat into a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat.

  3. In a small bowl combine cold chicken broth and cornstarch, whisking until smooth and well incorporated. 

  4. Reduce heat to medium-low; add chicken broth mixture, bouillon cubes, salt, pepper, sage and poultry seasoning. Whisk briskly until mixture thickens and begins to boil.

  5. Keep warm until serving.
